What is SAIL III ?

SAIL III elevates safety standards, allowing our Eiger drone to operate in areas with up to 5,000 people per km², compared to just 500 under SAIL II. 

SAIL III represents a significant step up in safety assurance, enabling more flexible and secure drone operations in denser environments.

All BVLOS operations in Europe operate under the SORA framework which defines risk of an operation, called a SAIL number. Until today, most European civil aviation authorities have only authorised risk levels of SAIL II.
