Lausanne, Switzerland. 8 September 2022 – We are delighted to announce our participation as the newest member of Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE). RigiTech joins DLE to collaborate with its existing partners to standardise the drone logistic industry, with regards to technical, operation and commercialization aspects.
“A central facet of our work for the future is airspace coexistence, working towards access to airspace, deconfliction, inter-platform communication and remote supervision. Collaborating with DLE partners in the drone delivery industry helps us approach complex obstacles like improving mobile connectivity for UASs, removing the need for ground-based operators and allowing multi-drone supervision in regulations.” – Adam Klaptocz, CEO and Co-Founder of RigiTech.
RigiTech’s focus on logistics and drone delivery comes as an answer to the growing demand for logistics solutions around the world. Our mission includes the development of effective Air Bridge networks, connecting distant outgoing and incoming points, paving the way for easier and faster long-range deliveries of 100 km. To achieve this, the Rigi team works to improve connectivity and communication between drones and their operating platform, RigiCloud.
DLE is a global network of companies, universities, public governments, and investors operating in the drone logistics industry. The aim of the DLE is to bring together stakeholders to collaborate to stimulate standardisation in this rapidly emerging industry. Hence, accelerating cross-border marketing and commercialization of products and services of its members. In one year, DLE has expanded to include 39 organisations, consisting of 36 companies, 2 universities and world’s largest drone association, Japan UAS Industrial Development Association, across 20 different countries. In a short period of time, DLE has been able to generate several international proof-of-concept projects with a few commercialisation prospects in the pipeline.
